Someone attempted to record a video of Beyoncé dancing with Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland and rapper Saweetie at Diddy's 50th birthday party on Saturday, and Jay-Z appeared to intervene by snatching the phone. 

A viral video surfaced of the three performers dancing together to Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step," and Jay-Z can be seen in the periphery grabbing the individual's phone as soon as he realized what they were recording. 

While viewers can't hear what the "99 Problems" rapper says to the person after he grabbed the phone, Jay-Z exchanged words with them and had a visibly frustrated look on his face.

As the video panned over to the crowd, the rapper handed the phone back to the individual, who put their hands up, while Beyoncé appeared to reach out to them to brush off the incident. 

After the video surfaced, fans reacted on Twitter to the rapper's phone snatch.

The couple, who wed in 2011, attended Diddy's black-tie, celebrity-filled party on Saturday along with stars including Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Pharrell Williams, Post Malone, and more. TMZ reported that the party was held at Diddy's $40 million house in LA. 

The "Partition" singer donned an embellished, strapless dress with a high slit exposing her leg. She also layered gem-filled rings and bracelets over elbow-length black gloves. The singer complemented the look with sparkly gold eyeshadow, oversized green earrings, and old Hollywood waves.

Following the extravagant birthday party, Beyoncé posted a series of photos on Instagram to honor her friend, captioning the post, "Happy Birthday Diddy!"

She kicked off the photos with a shot of Diddy and her husband, Jay-Z, taken by Carlos "Kaito" Araujo for Vanity Fair.

Jay-Z completed his final stage of Blue Ivy–mandated training this weekend at Diddy's 50th birthday party. And by that we mean, he snatched a fan's phone faster than the fan could snap a picture of dark-haired Beyoncé (the rarest Beyoncé of them all) meeting rapper Saweetie. Jay-Z, despite having Huge Wife Guy Energy, does not have a track record for being the most attentive husband. Remember in Homecoming when she FaceTimed him to show him she fit into her old costume and he said "Alright!" like his team picked up a fumble? That whole interaction was a fumble. Anyway, while Beyoncé was catching a vibe, greeting her loyal subjects, and enjoying her time outside the palace, Jay-Z was in full defense mode. The fan, who seemed to be part of their conversation so no hard feelings, looked like he was trying to record Beyoncé dancing. Cameras, in general, are probably a no-go around Beyoncé and her husband, so Jay-Z did what he had to do and snatched it. Snatched it like he's a middle-school teacher and a kid is trying to make a TikTok in the middle of biology class. It's wonderful. It's marvelous. It's what our girl deserves.

As the decade closes, it looks like Beyoncé might be feeling a little nostalgic — and who can blame her? She has accomplished so much over the last 10-plus years, with a ton of incredible fashion moments along the way. She's inevitably aware of her impact, which could be why she returned to her Sasha Fierce-era style at Diddy's 50th birthday party.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z made an appearance to celebrate their famous friend on Dec. 14, and naturally, Bey chose a jaw-dropping outfit for the event. Her strapless velvet gown featured sparkling crystal detailing, reminiscent of a Thierry Mugler ensemble she wore during her I Am... World Tour from 2009 to 2010. Of course, her high-slit party dress was better fit for mingling than elaborate dance numbers, but fans were still quick to point out the similarities. She completed the look with long black gloves, a metallic clutch, emerald and silver jewelry, and strappy black sandals. See? She still is, and will forever be, fierce as hell.

If you haven't heard of the brand, you're not alone, but Beyoncé's never shied away from wearing under-the-radar labels. In February, the Homecoming singer stepped out in a suit and hat combo courtesy of a designer that, at the time, was still just selling on Etsy. The look, designed by Nigerian designer Ena Udemba of EnaGancio, was handpicked by Beyoncé and her stylist Zerina Ackers and paired with a handbag by similarly undiscovered brand L'Afshar of Dubai, according to Vogue. Both EnaGancio and L'Afshar have since flourished, with renowned supermodel Iman following Beyoncé's lead in EnaGancio and L'Afshar being picked up by Shopbop, Net-A-Porter, and FWRD. As for Kujta & Meri, it's safe to say that you're about to see a whole lot more of the Albanian duo post-Bey.
