The Summer Essentials
1) Dermatologist Solutions Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 +++
To provide protection against the powerful UVA and UVB rays of the sun, Kiehl’s introduces the Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 PA +++.
The translucent, non greasy formula utilizes a high level of photostable sun filters Mexoryl SX™ and Mexoryl XL™ in combination with the antioxidant Vitamin E, which together provide the skin with effective and balanced broad-spectrum sunscreen protection.
2) Midnight Recovery Concentrate
It comprises of a powerful concentration, which was specifically formulated to biologically replicate the skin’s natural lipids for optimal skin repair during the night. The Midnight Recovery Concentrate is 99% naturally derived and paraben free.
The concentrate comprises of Squalane, night blooming Evening Primrose, therapeutic Lavender, Coriander, Rose Hip Seed Oils which when combined, provides a complete blend of Omegas (Omega 3, 6 and 9). Omega 3 and 6 Essential Fatty Acids have a restructuring benefit, which reinforces the cutaneous barrier, therefore keeping the epidermis hydrated.
3) Dermatologist Solutions ™ Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate
Developed with experts in the field of dermatology, medicine and chemistry this potent treatment is formulated with a high concentration of 10.5% Pure Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) known for its affinity with skin and its powerful ability to reduce the appearance of skin aging. A high dosage of Vitamin C, when applied topically, has been shown to have a multitude of positive effects on the skin’s appearance. Kiehl’s chemists found a way to formulate and stabilize Pure Vitamin C at high levels in a safe and highly efficacious form to maximize the benefits of the ingredient. With continued use over time, this treatment has a significant and progressive effect on “marionette lines” around the mouth, “crow’s feet” and sub-orbital wrinkles in the eye area as well as other facial lines and wrinkles. In addition, skin shows an improvement in texture, tone, and shallowness.
4) Acai Damage Repairing Serum
An ultra concentrated formula containing 10% extract of Acai Berry, the Acai Damage Repairing Serum helps the skin to repair the visible effects of damage to the skin’s tone, texture and tightness due to environmental oxidation, sun exposure and other external skin stressors.
In addition, Açaí Damage Repairing Serum is formulated with 100% natural origin ingredients and 76.5% of the total formula is organic. 100% of plant ingredients are organic. The formula is also paraben and silicone free.
5) Acai Damage Protecting Toning Mist
An antioxidant-enriched clarifying toner, the Acai Damage protecting toning mist balances and refines the skin’s tone and texture, while providing a sheer layer of protection against skin-aging environmental effects. It improves the look of radiance and rejuvenation to the skin.

6) Calendula Toner
Formulated for use by both women and men, this gentle, alcohol-free toner contains Calendula (also known as Pot Marigold) extract known for its great properties in treating skin problems such as inflammation, pain, irritation and discomfort associated with shaving. It also contains corn mint oil, which provides a cooling, tingling sensation that refreshes skin and soothes minor irritations.
Nourishing panthenol and herbal extracts such as lavender, ivy, great burdock and allantonin immediately leave the facial skin feeling smooth, fresh and invigorated after each use.
7) Cucumber Toner
It is a gentle toner formulated with herbal extracts to produce a naturally balancing and mildly refreshing effect. The Cucumber Toner is recommended for drier skin types or for customers with normal skin for a gentle soothing effect.
The ingredients Cucumber, Allantoin and Aloe aid in soothing the skin. Camphor - a tree extract, gives a cooling effect to the skin for a refreshing soothing feel. Sodium PCA has moisture binding properties.
8) Crème De Corps Light Weight Body Lotion
For normal to dry skin types, “Creme de Corps Light” is formulated with skin-soothing ingredients – Jojoba Butter, Olive Fruit Oil, and Sweet Almond Oil – and helps skin to maintain its moisture balance and prevent further moisture loss.
For the seasonal customer who prefers the original Creme de Corps formula during the drier months, this lightweight version is recommended for more humid seasons and warmer climates. The hydrating lotion is absorbed more rapidly while instantly soothing and conditioning skin for a silky feel.
9) Anti Perspirant & Deodrant Cream
It is an extremely gentle, yet efficient preparation offering unique skin care benefits. This unscented cream leaves skin feeling soft, soothed and conditioned with 24-hour protection against wetness and odor.
The formula reduces underarm perspiration utilizing advanced micro-sized drying molecules for a sheer absorption with no residue. My words on the launch: I really like how innovative the products are, especially the Anti-Perspirant and Deodrant cream as I've never heard of such cream till date. Also, looking forward to see how midnight recovery concentrate fares, for it being 99% naturally derived and paraben free.
