Tom Ford Cheek Color in 'Narcissist' (#07) From The Fall 2012 Collection

Colour and Pigmentation
'Narcissist' (#07) is an uber bright and intensely saturated, raspberry pink with blue undertones.  It's a truly gorgeous shade!  Extremely pigmented - you barely need to dab your cheek brush onto the product to apply a decent flush of cheek colour.  For such intensely pigmented powder blushes, I use the softest and favourite blush brush I have, which is the Suqqu Cheek Brush to pick up just the right amount of product with, apply and blend.

Texture, Finish & Longevity
The texture of the blush is quite soft and buttery and blends exceptionally well onto the skin.  It has a slight satin finish.  I found the cheek colour to be fairly long lasting on my combination skin compared with most blushes.  It lasts through most of the day.  Its longevity falls slightly shorter than what I've experienced with the Bobbi Brown Powder Blush in Pale Pink.

Scent
There's no noticeable scent. :)

Size
0.28 oz / 8 g of product.  That's probably the most amount I've ever gotten for a blush!  I don't think I'll ever be able to use it all up considering such a large amount of product and you only need to use a tiny amount at a time due to the strong colour pay-off! :-o :)  Just for comparison, a Chanel Joues Contraste blush comes with 0.14 oz / 4 g of product, and the Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush comes in closer at 0.24 oz / 7 g of product.  Most blushes are around the 0.14 oz / 4 g mark.  So, you're getting double the amount of very high quality product with the Tom Ford blush for just that little bit more you pay for it compared with the Chanel blush, so I think it's good value in that respect.

Packaging
Surprisingly, the blush compact is much smaller in size than I expected.  It's actually about the same size as the Chanel Joues Contraste blush compact.  It's fairly lightweight, though ever so slightly heavier than the Chanel Joues Contraste blush compacts and that's probably because there's double the amount of powder product in Tom Ford.  All good points for conveniently carrying around in your handbag, methinks.  It comes with a brown suede type of pouch, which I think is rather nice, but I normally put these away in a drawer somewhere and never use them again! /:-\
TOM FORD logo on the pouch.
Similar to their lipstick range, the blush compact design is fairly simple, very square and boxy.  Has a slight masculine and retro feel about it with it's sharp corners (which I don't particularly like).
For some reason, opening it up reminds me of an old cigarette case  (despite never having been a smoker myself!) LOL. Maybe it's the colour and gold bit at the front? ;-)
Conveniently, the blush compact comes with a mirror for on-the-go touch-ups.
The mirror folds all the way back flat as you can see.
The TOM FORD logo appears on the bottom of the mirror as well, if you look closely in the above photo.
The "TF" logo is also imprinted on the blush powder itself. :)
Up close.

Comparison Swatches
Here are the  swatches comparing Tom Ford's 'Narcissist' with two other very similar blushes I have in my personal collection: Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect in 'Tweed Fuchsia' (17) and Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush in 'Fearless' (26).  All swatches are against medium / light tan olive skin tone (~NC30-35).  Photographed indoors under artificial lighting and using a strobe.
As you can see, it's very close in colour to the Chanel 'Tweed Fucshia', but in person, 'Narcissist' is a bit more pigmented, richer, deeper and a tad more vibrant in colour. Of course, when applied on the cheeks there isn't much difference, but the 'Tweed Fucshia' has subtle shimmers in it (mostly from the overspray!).  All it really means in the end is that you need just that little bit less product with Tom Ford's than the Chanel's to apply. ;-)

Availability
Fortunately, this is a new shade that has been added to the permanent line. :-)

Overall Recommendation
Similarly with bright, pigmented lipsticks, this intense blush is versatile.  It can be worn softly on those with pale complexions given the right applicator brush, right up to those with the deepest skin tones with little effort in applying or blending due to its strong pigment and soft, smooth powder texture.  Fantastic shade - there's not too many blushes out there that are this intense!  Long-wearing.  Definitely a great buy if you don't already own the Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect Blush in 'Tweed Fuchsia'.  If you have very deep skin tone then you must check 'Narcissist' out!  It will absolutely look stunning on you. ^_^

Btw, if you'd like to see what the blush looks like on, check out the lovely Christine from Temptalia.com. :-)

Hope this was helpful.
